Bulbine Natalensis Outperforms Viagra – Study
by Anthony Roberts
As unbelievable as it may sound, it appears that Bulbine Natalensis has outperformed Viagra, for libido enhancing and prosexual effects, in a published (rodent) study. It’s important to understand that the information I’m sharing today is scientific research performed in South Africa, at a University, by scientists who have no vested financial interest in the outcome.
I know this because I’ve spoken to them – one of these guys is the same person who did the original Fadogia study, and when I was the first to market it, I offered him several chances to earn some cash from the idea; I also happen to know he was offered money from the people who are currently selling the only trademarked/standardized Bulbine in the world, and he never got back to them.
Remember, this scientist was not only the guy who did the original Fadogia study, the original Massularia Acuminata study, AND the Bulbine Natalensis study, but he’s never earned a dime off any of these ideas.
Alright, I just figured I’d give a bit of background here, because I want you guys to see that this study is void of financial incentive for the researcher(s) who performed it. For the most part, I personally give zero credence to most studies coming out of places like Baylor.
And granted, this particular study happens to be a rodent study, but the data is very exciting, because in terms of being a prosexual compound (boosting libido, erectile parameters, etc…) Bulbine Natalensis outperformed Viagra, and it did so at the same dose that has been shown to raise testosterone and lower estrogen.
This is doubly exciting because there have been anti-estrogens/test-boosters in the past that have lowered libido (I’m thinking about ATD – type – compounds here). So while we have a significant reduction in estrogen with Bulbine Natalensis, we don’t have a lowering of the libido.
In the following charts, you can see that Bulbine Natalensis at 50mgs/kg (the light blue/ aqua bars), outperformed Viagra (the lighter purple bars) in every pro-sexual area. The lower dose of Bulbine (signified by the clear-ish bars) also did very well, outperforming Viagra in every area as well (although not by as much as the 50mgs/kg dose).
Effect of aqueous extract of Bulbine natalensis (Baker) stem on the sexual behaviour of male rats.
