Reality Check- PEDs are here!
Reality is performance Enhancing Drugs are very much prevalent in the majority of sports arenas and will always be a permanent fixture. Bodybuilding, MMA, Tennis, Track and Field, swimming, cycle, football, wrestling, boxing and even the MLB…to name of few. Most notably as of recent, major league baseball due to so many players getting caught. Reality is, as long as the desire to be the very best, the absolute greatest in a sports arena is there, the temptation of using PEDs will certainly tug at an athlete’s competitive nature. Furthermore, as long as club owners are willing to pay 27 million a year to play baseball, the pressure to be the greatest even if it means using PEDs will become reality, no longer a temptation making PEDs just part of the game.
For the record, in my opinion you have to be an absolute friggin idiot to think that someone earning 27 million a year to play baseball, wouldn’t use PEDs do maintain their level of performance…as in the case of Alex Rodriqez, the third baseman for the NY Yankees. I’ve got news for you, the reality is, the highest paid players in today’s day and age of the MLB use PEDs and will continue to do so. The list of Major League Baseball Players caught using PEDs is comprised of some of the greatest players in the sport today…Roger Clemens, Sami Sosa, Barry Bonds, Mark McGuire, Manny Ramerez, Jose Consaco and most recently Alex Rodriguez. All of these MLB Players have achieved levels of greatness by setting records that others only dream of accomplishing. Some critics may say they simply were gifted athletes in their sports areas, but I know one common denominator with these baseball players…All of them used PEDs. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not judging or chastising athletes who use PEDss, rather I’m pointing out the reality of the situation. Steroids, Human Growth Hormone and other PEDs take great athletes and assist them in becoming the greatest athletes…it’s that simple. The reality is fan’s don’t wasn’t to see baseball players hitting single’s over and over again… reality is fans want the rush of home runs! They pay to see Barry Bonds, Mark McGuire or Alex Rodriquez smash the ball driving it over center field wall!! Team owners and team managers certainly desire victories and are willing to pay a player millions for achieving that goal. You see wines generate money, big money as in 100s of millions both in ticket sales and the majority of funds being earned by corporate sponsors. Owners, managers, athletes and agents know full well PEDs are being used. Reality is, it’s in the best financial interest for MLB, NFL and other organizations to keep steroid and HGH use a secret and behind the scenes totally oblivious to the general public and corporate sponsors. You see, companies like Nike, Gatorade, PowerAde or Reebok would like the public to believe athlete super stars run faster or per form at elite levels clue to using their products…the athletes who get paid millions to endorse the shoes, or cloths or energy drinks lead the public to believe just that. My problem isn’t with Alex Rodriguez using steroids, or Lance Armstrong or any other great athlete…no, my problem is with these friggin idiots like Anthony Bosch, the direction of Biogenesis Clinic in South Florida who kept Alex Rodriguez’s actual name in his files. What of arrogant, idiotic rat does that? What kind of dumb-ass keeps detailed doping records with the Athletes re all name included in those records? And then after the Biogenesis Clinic becomes exposed, Anthony Bosch Tells!! Bosch doesn’t just tell on Rodriquez and expose the PEED use, no this idiot keeps thirteen other MLB players re all names in his files with a total disregard for their careers and well being…wow! In all my years of consulting pro Athletes in the practice of using PEDs did they ever for one moment have to worry about me disclosing private information. It blows my mind how these physicians charge thousands of dollars to map out and apply doping schedules to Professional Athletes and then tell on them like it’s the thing to do after getting caught!! Not too mention, to sit back and watch the players tell on each other s sickening!! I can’t even imagine how many dozens, if not hundreds of other players are scrambling to make damn certain their actual name is not on file at the local anti-aging clinic. The first step to take in the MLB is stop telling on each other!! The Physicians and athletes need to man up and quit snitching. Reality is, PED use has been going on since the 90’s, maybe even the 80’s and really isn’t that big of a deal… as long as PEDs are kept in the dark. Just because Alex Rodriguez, Ryan Braun, Mike Cabrera, Barry Bonds and recently Von Miller in the NFL to name a few, used PEDs they’re not bad guys, they’re not criminals, they’re simply great athletes trying to become the greatest athletes. They’re not doing anything different then 100s of players right next to them in the game today. In USA today Alex Rodriguez said “The nation that people are doing this shit and getting away with it is so untrue’ Well, in reality it is true and precisely what’s going on. If you’re a current professional athlete, in any sports arena, and you want to continue to present yourself with a politically correct façade for the sake of greatness and financial compensation…then be careful! Use precautions when seeking out a professional to administer your doping schedules. Use go between-ers and never meet or call the consultant you’re using. Make sure your name is never mentioned at any cost. Leave no evidence like syringes or cotton balls or alcohol swabs with any other person, just yourself. For example, Roger Clemens, piece of shit trainer attempted to blackmail him with used syringes from PED injections years earlier. Really? And that guy was a hero for telling? Reality is, I for one admire and respect Alex Rodriguez for his baseball greatness. Just the other day I watched him smash yet another home run…and the fans went wild!!
